My Approach

Presenting can be nerve-wracking, and even learning how to present can put people under pressure. My approach to coaching presentation skills is to put you at ease, build your confidence and make it hands-on so you feel ready to deliver presentations with effective outcomes.

High-stress situations aren’t helpful. Instead, my coaching is professional, focused and fun, and it’s suitable for every member of your team.

We’ll use one-to-one and group practice sessions so you can get feedback.

We’ll discuss effective presenting ideas through history, from Ancient Greece to modern-day celebrity and politics.

We’ll review my ‘wheel of nerves’ to tackle common problems presenters face – including harnessing some of those nerves to help you present with enthusiasm.

Whichever of my courses you choose, the result will be the same: presenters who are confident, collected and prepared to deliver presentations with passion.

What sort of people do you coach?

I coach anyone who wants to feel more confident, increase their chances of promotion and become a valuable member of their team through presentation skills.

I work with all ages of people. If you’re just starting out, I can teach you the benefits and positive impact good presentation skills have on your career. If you’re in middle or senior management, I can develop your existing skills to help you take that next step.

Do you work one-to-one?

I’m able to coach people individually but often it makes more sense practically and financially to run group sessions of eight to ten people. That way you can get feedback and get used to presenting in front of an audience.

Where do you run the courses?

To save you unnecessary cost, I’m able to deliver the courses in your workplace. If you’d prefer a change of scene, I’m happy to arrange a space that’ll work for your group.

What does Causatum mean?

Causatum means ‘outcome’ in Latin – something which I believe is one of the most important parts of any presentation.

About Me

During the last 10 years, I’ve worked with leaders of some of the largest brands in the world, helping them craft and deliver their messages when presenting face-to-face.

More recently, I’ve turned my attention to helping groups of middle and senior managers develop their presentation skills; these are the colleagues who tend to need the most support, but aren’t getting it.

My coaching is focused on helping your team become successful presenters who make an impact. From an early career in events production, I know what makes a real difference to the audience, and what makes a really good presenter.
